Serta tahun 2008 dicanangkan sebagai Tahun Bahasa. Maka di tahun 2008 diadakan kegiatan kebahasaan dan kesastraan. • Membahas 5 lima hal utama, yaitu - Bahasa Indonesia - Bahasa Daerah - Penggunaan Bahasa Asing - Pengajaran Bahasa dan Sastra - Bahasa Media Massa Kesimpulan Kongres Bahasa Indonesia X • Diikuti oleh seluruh Indonesia dan dari luar negeri, antara lain Jepang, Rusia, Pakistan, Jerman, Belgia, Brunei Darussalam, Singapura, Malaysia, China, Italia dan Timor Leste dengan total peserta. • Beberapa rekomendasi muncul pada kongres ini, yaitu - Pemerintah perlu memantapkan kedudukan dan fungsi bahasa Indonesia melalui penerjemahan dan penerbitan baik secara nasional dan internasional - Perlu meningkatkan sosialisasi pembakuan bahasa Indonesia untuk kepentingan pembelajaran dalam memperkukuh jati diri dan membangkitkan semangat kebangsaan - Sebagai pendidikan karakter menaikkan martabat dan harkat bangsa, pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia perlu dioptimalkan - Pemerintah perlu menerapkan Uji Kemahiran Berbahasa Indonesia UKBI untuk menyeleksi dan mempromosi pegawai baik di pemerintahan maupun swasta guna memperkuat jati diri dan kedaulatan NKRI. UKBI sebagai “paspor bahasa” bagi tenaga kerja asing di Indonesia - Badan Pengembangan dan Pembinaan Bahasa perlu meningkatkan pengawasan penggunaan bahasa untuk menciptakan tertib berbahasa secara proporsional - Peran media massa sebagai sarana pemartabatan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia di kancah internasional perlu dioptimalkan - Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia KIP perlu mengingatkan dan menegur agar lembaga penyiaran menggunakan bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar - Mendukung secara moral dan material pendirian pusat studi/kajian bahasa Indonesia di luar negeri oleh Pemerintah Indonesia Kesimpulan Kongres Bahasa Indonesia VII • Mengusulkan dibentukanya Badan Pertimbangan Bahasa Indonesia • Menguatkan kedudukan bahasa di era globalisasi • BIPA Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing • Organisasi profesi • Perkembangan IPTEK, teknologi informasi dan tantangan Kehidupan di era globalisasi Kesimpulan Kongres Bahasa Indonesia XI • Mengusung Tema “Menjayakan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia” • Peluncuran Produk Kebahasaan dan Kesastraan Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia Braille, Buku Bahasa dan Peta Bahasa, Uji Kemahiran Berbahasa Indonesia UKBI Daring, Korpus Indonesia, Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing BIPA Daring, Buku Satrawan Berkarya di Daerah 3T, 546 Buah Buku Bacaan Literasi, Kamus Vokasi, Kamus Bidang Ilmu dan Aplikasi Senarai Padanan Istilah Asing SPAI • Diberikan sejumlah penghargaan Adibahasa, Penghargaan Sastra, Anugerah Tokoh Kebahasaan, Duta Bahasa Nasional 2018 dan Festival Musikalisasi Puisi Tingkat Nasional 2018 BERDASARKAN HASIL KONGRES VII XI Kongres Bahasa Indonesia VIII Jakarta, 14-17 Oktober 2003 Kongres Bahasa Indonesia IX Jakarta, 28 Oktober-01 November 2008 Kongres Bahasa Indonesia X Jakarta, 28-31 Oktober 2013 Kongres Bahasa Indonesia XI Jakarta, 28-31 Oktober 2018 MANAJEMEN-S1 Nama Alan Dandies Kristyawan NIM 044476737
